REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE – OBS/SURGICAL INPATIENT
(TEMPORARY PART TIME)
One (1) temporary part time RPN opportunity is available in the OBS/Surgical Inpatient unit at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
This position is unionized with UNIFOR, Local 1106.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
Maternal Child/Post Partum course preferred
Breastfeeding Course preferred
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) preferred
BCLS Certification
Updated IV course and IV Med Administration – mandatory within 3 months of hire
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
Demonstrated life long learner
Willing and able to work in a team environment
Satisfactory performance and attendance required
Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
HOURS:
Must be available for day, evening and night shifts; as per department schedule
SALARY:
$37.69 - $39.17 per hour
