As a Trauma OR RN, you’ll be part of a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment with access to professional growth and advanced medical technology.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Pay Range: $39.57 – $53.34/hour (based on 17+ years of experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case basis
• Schedule: Full-Time, Nights (Rotating Weekends)
As a Registered Nurse in the Trauma Operating Room, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a trauma-focused surgical environment. You will use your expertise in acute care nursing to manage complex trauma cases, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide trauma and surgical support in a fast-paced OR setting
• Deliver nursing care using evidence-based practices and the nursing process
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams for optimal outcomes
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
• Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Licensure:
• Active Florida Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact RN license
• Must meet Florida Board of Nursing regulations
Education:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Certifications:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – must obtain within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – must obtain within 30 days of hire
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in trauma or operating room acute care setting
• Prior experience in Level I or II trauma centers preferred
• Work in a recognized Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center
