Registered Nurse RN Open Heart

Join HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, a renowned healthcare provider, as a Registered Nurse (RN) Open Heart (CVOR RN). You will work alongside a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, assisting with procedures, and providing critical post-operative care, ensuring the safety and recovery of cardiac patients in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range:

• $31.84 - $46.26 per hour (based on experience)

On-Call Pay:

• $4 per hour

Shift Differentials:

• $4.50 per hour (Nights)

• $1.50 per hour (Weekends)

• $1.50 per hour (National Certification)

Sign-On Bonus:

• Case-by-case basis

Relocation Assistance:

• Case-by-case basis

Position Type:

• Permanent, Full-time

Shift:

• Days (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.)

On-Call:

• Once per week and one weekend per month (subject to department needs)

As a CVOR RN, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care in a collaborative and dynamic environment. You will work closely with surgeons and the perioperative team to deliver exceptional patient care during cardiovascular surgeries. Your key responsibilities include performing scrub and circulating duties during open-heart surgeries, maintaining a sterile environment, monitoring patient progress, and making critical decisions to adjust care plans as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub and circulating nurse duties for open-heart and cardiovascular procedures

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure sterile environment and adherence to protocols

• Provide critical care before, during, and after surgery

• Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary

• Participate in on-call rotations as required by the department

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an acute care environment

• Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or eligible to obtain licensure before the start date

• Certifications:

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (AHA Healthcare provider)

• CNOR preferred

• Education: BSN preferred
