• Base Pay: $33.00 – $46.00/hour (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000

Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity acute care environment in Hudson, Florida.

This role is ideal for critical care nurses who excel in fast-paced settings and are passionate about caring for critically ill patients. The ICU RN will manage complex patient conditions while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill ICU patients

• Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond to acute changes in status

• Administer medications, titratable drips, and treatments in accordance with provider orders

• Operate and manage advanced critical care equipment and monitoring systems

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Adhere to patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards

Required

• Active Florida RN license or valid compact RN license (Florida license required within 60 days of hire)

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (MICU, SICU, CVICU, or comparable critical care unit)

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA)

• Strong critical-thinking, communication, and clinical assessment skills

Required Within 6 Months of Hire

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Experience in MICU, SICU, CVICU, or similar critical care settings
