We are looking to hire a full-time salaried Program Nurse (must be an RN) to oversee medications, vitals and withdrawal scales (CIWAS / COWS) and train the staff. This position involves administrative duties and lots of software systems. Specific work days are Monday to Friday, and remote availability on weekends and evenings. Typical work hours are 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the expectation that you will work remotely, as needed, to help with evening medications and medical issues including on the weekends. This is a Hybrid position.
Prior experience working at a SUD's inpatient facility is preferred but not requires. Must be able to manage medications, enter vital signs correctly and oversee other staff. There will be 1 or 2 times per week where you will be expected to stay past 1:00 PM to help with client care, especially when we have a new admission. Also, for the first month or so, you will likely need to stay past 1 PM for training purposes.
Job Duties:
Job duties include overseeing medication pass, training the staff on medication pass, vitals and CIWAS. Daily nursing visit and documentation with all clients. Work with our medical director to ensure all doctor's orders are followed correctly. Work with the pharmacy to ensure all medications arrive to the facility. A large component of this role is medication management. you will be training the other staff, including non-medical staff, to follow company protocol related to medical items. Other duties include: computer work, administrative work, lab work coordination, managerial work, creating protocols and instruction sheets, staff training, doctor follow ups, intakes, discharges, medication inventory, refill management, client transportation, walks, laundry, bed turnover, group facilitation, and more.

Compensation:
Starting compensation is contingent on experience, skills and ability (willingness) to perform the duties. This is W-2, salaried-exempt position, paid weekly.
