Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts | Days or Nights | Rotating Weekends
Compensation
CVICU RN: $33.77 – $49.06 per hour depending on experience
ICU Stepdown RN: $31.86 – $46.28 per hour depending on experience
Cardiac Neuro / Telemetry RN: $30.75 – $44.68 per hour depending on experience
Shift Differentials
• Nights: +$4.50/hr
• Weekends: +$1.50/hr
Sign-On Bonuses
• CVICU: $15,000 Days | $20,000 Nights
• ICU Stepdown: $15,000 Days | $20,000 Nights
• Cardiac Neuro / Stroke / Telemetry: $10,000 Days | $15,000 Nights

Overview
A Level II Trauma Center and regional acute care hospital in Sanford, Florida is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) across several inpatient specialty units.
This posting represents multiple RN openings in CVICU, ICU Stepdown, Cardiac Neuro / Stroke, Cardiac Neuro Telemetry, and Med-Surg. Qualified nurses may be considered for the department that best aligns with their recent clinical experience, certifications, and shift preference.

Units Currently Hiring
CVICU RN
• Days and nights available
• 12-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:2
• High-acuity post-cardiac and critical care patient population
ICU Stepdown RN
• Days and nights available
• 15-bed true stepdown unit
• Manages drips and long-term vent patients
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 3:1, sometimes 4:1
RN Cardiac Neuro (Stroke Unit)
• Nights available
• 26-bed stroke / neuro and med-surg patient population
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
RN Cardiac Neuro Tele (Med-Tele Unit)
• Days available
• 27-bed cardiac, neuro, med-telemetry unit
• Patient population includes neuro, cardiac, post-CABG, MI, and chest pain patients
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in fast-paced acute care environments
Minimum Qualifications
Required
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license
• Graduate of an accredited ASN, RN Diploma, or BSN nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Recent acute care hospital RN experience required for most units
Unit-Specific Experience
• CVICU RN: 1+ years recent ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital required
• ICU Stepdown RN: recent ICU Stepdown experience preferred; strong cardiac or multisystem PCU backgrounds may be considered
• Cardiac Neuro Tele RN: recent acute care Med-Surg / Tele RN experience required
• Cardiac Neuro Stroke RN: recent acute care Med-Surg / Tele experience required; PCU, rehab, or cardiac backgrounds may be considered
Additional Certifications
• CVICU: NIHSS within 30 days, NCI within 6 months, ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 6 months
• ICU Stepdown: NIHSS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months
• Cardiac Neuro / Stroke / Med-Tele: NIHSS within 30 days, ACLS required or within onboarding timeline depending on unit
