Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health / Detox Program – Fredericksburg, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time, 12-Hour Shifts (Days or Nights)
Compensation: $38–$45 per hour, depending on experience
Incentives: Shift differentials for Nights and Weekends
Overview
A respected Drug Treatment Facility in the Texas Hill Country seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional care to adults recovering from substance-use and co-occurring behavioral conditions. This is a chance to practice evidence-based nursing while helping patients regain stability and wellness in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patients through detoxification.
• Administer medications and observe responses using CIWA/COWS protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff on individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on recovery and relapse prevention.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation compliant with state and facility standards.
• Active, unencumbered Texas RN license.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• One or more years of behavioral-health, detox, or acute-care experience.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
Compensation & Benefits
• $38–$45/hour base pay plus shift differentials.
• Full-time, 12-hour schedule.
