Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health / Adolescent Residential Care
Denton County |  $40–$50/hr | Overtime Available |Full Time
Schedule & Shifts
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 7-day coverage with rotating schedules
• No overnight shifts currently required
• Overtime available for extended or crisis coverage
• Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Administer medications accurately and maintain precise documentation.
• Monitor and respond to behavioral and physical health changes.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and de-escalation efforts.
• Utilize behavioral EMR systems such as KIPU for clinical charting.
• Collaborate with mental health technicians (MHTs), CNAs, and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Maintain open communication with leadership and clinical directors regarding patient status.
• Active, unencumbered Texas RN license
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience (residential, acute, or inpatient psych)
• Strong documentation, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex behaviors in a calm, professional manner
Compensation & Benefits
• Pay: $40–$50/hr (based on experience)
• Overtime pay at 1.5x after 40 hours
• Weekly direct deposit
• Contract, PRN, and Temp-to-Hire arrangements available
• Credentialing assistance provided for fast onboarding
