Pay / Compensation:

• Hourly Pay (Based on Experience):

• $30.69/hr – 2 years of experience

• $33.71/hr – 5 years of experience

• $43.20/hr – 17+ years of experience

• Shift Differentials:

• Nights: +$4.25/hr

• Weekends: +$3.00/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

• Relocation Assistance: $2,500–$5,000 (for candidates 100+ miles away)    

Schedule / Shifts:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Rotating Weekends Required

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (Pulmonary) to join our inpatient nursing team. You will provide high-quality care to patients requiring specialized pulmonary treatment in a dynamic, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans

• Deliver education to patients and families on medications, conditions, and procedures

• Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Promote efficiency in resource usage and ensure adherence to care protocols

• Provide high-quality nursing care aligned with the unit’s patient-centered model

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 4 years)

• Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact License

• Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

• BLS certification (must be completed before start date)

• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio

• Must live within 60 minutes of Gainesville, FL

• In-person interview, shadow session, and facility tour required
