Compensation: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour based on experience
Midpoint: ~$40.00/hr (8+ years experience)
Night Differential: +$4.25/hr
Weekend Differential: +$3.00/hr

Overview
A Level I Trauma Center in the Ocala region is actively hiring Registered Nurses across critical care and emergency departments.
This facility serves as the primary referral center for trauma, stroke, and advanced cardiac care in North Central Florida and offers strong exposure to high-acuity patient populations.
This posting allows candidates to be considered for ICU, MICU, or Emergency Room placement based on clinical background and shift preference.
Units Hiring
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
48-bed high-acuity ICU supporting complex medical and surgical patients.
Best fit candidates:
• ICU or CVICU experience
• ER or PCU background
• Strong Med-Surg candidates with interest in critical care
Certifications:
• BLS within 30 days
• ACLS within 30 days
• TNCC or CCRN within 1 year
Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
Advanced monitoring environment focused on complex medical patients requiring critical care intervention.
Ideal candidates:
• ICU, PCU, or strong Med-Surg background
• Comfort with higher-acuity medical patients
Certifications:
• BLS within 30 days
• ACLS within 90 days
Emergency Room (ER)
High-volume emergency department within a Level I Trauma Center.
Shift: Nights (rotating weekends)
Candidate profile:
• ER experience preferred
• ICU, PCU, or Med-Surg nurses open to ED transition considered
Certifications (during onboarding):
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• ENPC
• NCI
• TNCC
Responsibilities
Registered Nurses in these roles will:
• Assess and monitor patient condition across varying acuity levels
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Prioritize care across multiple patients in fast-paced environments
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license
• Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care RN experience (within last 3 years)
