Job Description

Daylesford Health is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse on a Permanent Part Time basis in our Urgent Care Centre.

Daylesford urgent care centre is a key entry point into the Victorian healthcare system for people living in small rural communities. Patients may receive definitive care at a rural urgent care centre, whereby treatment required at the time is provided with care that meets their clinical needs and is within the scope of practice of the clinician. Alternatively, their healthcare needs may require referral to their general practitioner or transfer to higher level of care at a larger health service.

Key Selection Criteria:

Current Adult & Paediatric Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Preferred experience working in regional/rural UCC or
Minimum 3 years' experience in Emergency Nursing & Triage experience
Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing/Critical Care or willing to obtain within 12 months of commencement
Current Australian Working Rights

Details of Appointment:

Permenent part-time position (rotating roster), working 48 hours per fornight

Salary:

Dependent on experience, as per award + superannuation

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne. It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on the 30th November 2019. Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated - Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.

All appointments to Central Highlands Rural Health are subject to a satisfactory clearance of a National Police Check and Employee Working with Children Check. Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of an immunisation assessment prior to commencement. It is mandatory for all employees who work within the Health Care Sector have their COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.
