Job Summary
A growing cardiology practice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with at least two years of cardiology experience. The ideal candidate is professional, comfortable triaging patients over the phone, and skilled in communicating with doctors. We offer a positive, upbeat work environment where all medical personnel work together for the best outcome for our patients.

Responsibilities

Answer patient calls and assess their needs

Adjust medications according to Standing Orders

Review and explain abnormal test results to patients

Communicate effectively with physicians

Schedule appointments for patients with acute issues

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiac setting (cardiology office, cath lab, cardiac step down, ICU, or ER)

Strong knowledge of cardiac medications

Registered Nursing degree from an accredited college

Valid nursing license for the state of Florida

BLS and ACLS certification required

Strong assessment skills
