Registered Nurse Cardiac Neuro Telemetry

Location: Sanford, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Pay Range: $29.00 – $42.13/hour (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000

Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)

Differentials: $4.50/hr Nights | $1.50/hr Weekends

Position Overview

Join a high-performing 27-bed Cardiac Neuro Telemetry unit caring for patients with cardiac and neurological diagnoses, including telemetry monitoring, post-CABG, MI, chest pain, arrhythmias, and other high-acuity conditions. This unit is known for strong teamwork, supportive leadership, and a commitment to patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and neurological telemetry patients

• Interpret telemetry strips; identify arrhythmias and emergent conditions

• Monitor and document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain Florida license within 90 days)

• Minimum 1 year recent acute-care RN experience

• Telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience required

• BLS and ACLS (AHA) required

• NIH Stroke Scale certification (within 30 days of hire)

• ASN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in telemetry, stepdown, or med/surg telemetry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Seeking a long-term, permanent role (not a travel contract)
