Registered Nurse (RN) Assessment Specialist Flexible Part-Time Schedule

The Registered Nurse Assessment Specialist will conduct monthly assessments of patients throughout Western NC as needed. This requires traveling to homes. They will be responsible for holding competency classes for new hires and existing PCA's, CNA's, LPN's, and RN's. The schedule is flexible, and you will have the ability to create your own schedule.

Job Requirements:
Physical Requirements: May require squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, walking, and/or sitting for long periods of time.
Mental Requirements: Work involves a broad range of problems, many of a complex nature. Must be able to work independently, make sound judgments based on assessment and data available and act accordingly. Must be flexible, innovative, and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be able to prioritize multiple functions and/or tasks.
Skills: Must be able to develop a Plan of Care, MAR, TAR and complete PDN documents.
Hours: Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
Must be willing to travel around the western side of the state.

Nurse Supervisor Qualifications:
Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or multi-state
One year or more of experience as a Registered Nurse with strong assessment skills
Strong Supervisory background and effective staff management
Extensive experience with developing Plan of Care, MARS and TARS.
