Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the Registered Dietitian provides nutrition intervention and education to patients attending the Women's and Children’s paediatric ambulatory clinics, which primarily includes the lifestyle clinic (paediatric obesity) and gastroenterology clinic, as well as supporting the operational needs of other Women's and Children’s ambulatory clinics and clinical partnership with the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and paediatric inpatient unit. 
Accountabilities:
• Works collaboratively with the patient/family, allied health team, nursing, and pediatricians to manage medical care using a paediatric-focused approach, through dietary history taking, implementing a plan of care, monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes on an ongoing basis
• Provides group-based lectures (virtual or in-person) and individual counselling sessions
• Readily available for patient consultation requests from members of the Women’s and Children’s team
• Provides care in a compassionate and caring manner within a diverse cultural environment
• Provides NICU/inpatient paediatric coverage as needed
• Supports lifestyle clinic patient engagement including but not limited to intake sessions and activity nights
• Supports Mental Health program with educational group sessions related to Women's and Children’s nutritional aspects as requested
• Academic preparation from an accredited Canadian university program in food and nutrition or equivalent
• Practical training in an accredited practical dietetic internship program in Canada or equivalent
• Member in good standing (good character and conduct) with the College of Dietitians of Ontario is required
• BCLS certification required
• Language proficiency in English required
• Record of ethical and competent practice
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communication and group facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience in paediatrics and neonatal intensive care preferred

• Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
• Travel between and work at all Osler sites will be required
Hours: Currently days, 8 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $41.76 per hour
Maximum: $53.50 per hour
