Job Title: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Telehealth)
Reports To: VP of Integrated Services
About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) licensed in New York State to join our expanding telehealth team. This is a unique opportunity to provide impactful, one-on-one medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and counseling to patients across New York — all from the comfort of your home.
You’ll work with patients managing chronic conditions, digestive health, weight concerns, and general wellness. This role offers clinical autonomy while being supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive virtual nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
Deliver one-on-one counseling and follow-ups via HIPAA-compliant telehealth tools
Accurately document all encounters in the EHR system
Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and care coordinators
Educate patients and families on dietary strategies and supplement use
Stay current on evidence-based practices and telehealth standards
Contribute to patient satisfaction and care quality improvement efforts
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) via the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) license in New York State
At least 1 year of clinical or outpatient nutrition experience
Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, SimplePractice, AdvancedMD)
Strong communication and tech literacy
A secure remote workspace with high-speed internet
Preferred / Huge Plus:
Medicare and/or Medicaid provider enrollment
Prior telehealth or digital health experience
Bilingual (Spanish, Mandarin, etc.)
Specialty certifications (e.g., CDCES, renal nutrition, pediatric nutrition)
