A vital part of an expanding dental team
Does a beautiful smile light up your day? As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play an essential role in giving our patients something to smile about! This position will work specifically with our school-based dental team, going onsite to area schools for treatment. This position may also be required to work in the Health Centers as needed.
On a daily basis, you will provide services for the patients in our community! In this position, you will provide preventative dental services including, health education, screenings, prophylaxis, fluoride, and sealants.
A Dental Hygienist is a vital part of Finger Lakes Community Health – one of the fastest-growing health centers in New York State. With eight health centers, serving over 28,000 patients, we provide primary care, dental and behavioral health services.

Qualifications:
A current, unrestricted NYS Dental Hygienist License required
CPR certification required
Prior experience is a plus, but not required
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with personnel, patients, and community partners
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
The ability to work flexible hours -- some evenings are required
The ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English is preferred
