What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will be capable of participating in business development activities to grow the low voltage telecommunications team at Lighthouse Electric.

Certifications: Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification (A MUST), in good standing

Knowledge of structured cabling systems from an installation and basic design perspective.

Up to date on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies and design/construction industry.

In depth knowledge of structured copper and fiber optic cabling (voice & data). Familiarity with network topologies, and IP network protocols preferred

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field Preferred

Experience: 3+ years of relevant RCDD experience

Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Perform site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes
