Nurse Next Door - Burnaby, New Westminster & Tri Cities

Minimum Hours Per Shift: 3 hours (can be stacked with other shifts, but not a guarantee)

Maximum Hours Day: 8 Hours (OT for approval)

FLEXIBLE hours - visits as Ranging from 3 hrs. to 12 hrs. per shift, from 2 times to 6 times a week.

In-home care with private clients - 1 on 1 care

Responsibilities:

Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care

Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer

Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly

Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description

Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Service the BURNABY, NEW WESTMINSTER, & TRI-CITIES area

1 year experience

Must be able to communicate verbally and write in English, other languages are an asset

BC Care Aide registration number or International Health Care Experience

Driver's license and access to a vehicle is an asset but not a requirement

Negative TB test

Valid CPR/ First Aid Training Certificate

Strong communication skills
