Exciting opportunities are available to become an integral member of our Day of Surgery Admissions team as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
This role will see you:
Work between all areas in DOSA - Admissions, Pre-op Hold & 2nd/3rd Stage Recovery
Preparing patients undergoing day procedures before their entry into theatre
Discharging patients’ post-procedure and providing education on what to expect
Ensure high-quality care is delivered to all our patients
Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including morning, afternoon and evening shifts, is critical for this role.
Your Skills and Experience
Current registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
Minimum two years of post-graduate experience in an acute care setting.
Recent experience in Day Surgery or Surgical Wards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Remuneration
A base hourly rate, based on experience level and qualifications:
Registered Nurses: $41.89 - $54.01 + superannuation + applicable penalty rates (QLD Registered Nurse/Midwife Level 1.2-1.8)
Enrolled Nurses: $35.78 - $39.96 + superannuation + applicable penalty rates (QLD Enrolled Nurses Level 1-2)

The Hospital
Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and day services across a wide range of specialties. The Hospital operates 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11-bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and a 9 chair day therapy unit.

Requirements
Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the last 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
