Regional Sales Operations Manager – Southeast & Far East Asia
Location: Pathumwan, Bangkok, Thailand

About the Role
The Regional Sales Operations Manager will oversee and drive best-in-class sales operations across Southeast and Far East Asia. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, driving sales productivity, and building strategic alignment between internal teams and external distributors. The position requires seamless coordination across field sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, as well as ownership of distributor relationship operations, including joint business planning, order management, budget tracking, and contract governance.
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Sales Operations Management
•
• Lead and manage all sales operations activities across the region, ensuring alignment with sales targets and business strategy.
•
• Serve as the operational liaison between field sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, enabling timely execution of commercial activities.
•
• Ensure accurate and efficient execution of processes related to order capture, fulfilment, trade execution, and sales support.
• Distributor Operations & Engagement
•
• Manage operational coordination with regional distributors, including order planning, tracking, delivery, and issue resolution in collaboration with supply chain.
•
• Drive distributor onboarding to internal systems (CRM, ERP), ensuring compliance with data standards and process efficiency.
•
• Administer and track distributor contracts, renewals, and addendums in collaboration with legal and commercial stakeholders.
•
• Coordinating on monthly business reviews and demand collaboration meetings
• Joint Business Planning (JBP)
•
• Lead the creation, monitoring, and periodic evaluation of Joint Business Plans (JBP) with distributors.
•
• Align JBPs with company objectives, sales targets, trade investments, and promotional calendars.
•
• Track distributor performance against agreed KPIs, identify gaps, and initiate corrective actions in collaboration with commercial teams.
• Reporting, Forecasting & Insights
•
• Deliver timely and accurate MIS reports, dashboards, and business reviews with actionable insights.
•
• Provide input to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and support quarterly sales forecasting with market and distributor intelligence.
•
• Distributor secondary sales and stock cover maintenance, generating insights to ensure corrective actions
•
• Analyze sales trends, demand forecasts, and performance metrics to optimize planning and execution.
•
• Monitor and provide inputs on Sales incentive program (SIP)
• Trade Investment,Claims,credit and cash Management
•
• Trade promo planning with sales, marketing and demand planners together with monthly activity planning sessions.
•
• Manage trade investment budgets across markets, ensuring disciplined allocation, usage, and tracking in alignment with commercial plans.
•
• Manage and reduce market hygiene (trade return, trade damages and ullage) and keep it below 3% of GSV
•
• Oversee claims submission, validation, and settlement processes to ensure compliance and timely resolution.
•
• Monitor ROI of trade activities and provide recommendations for optimization.
•
• Monitor Overdues and work with field sales to ensure timely payment of all invoices on a timely manner
• Cross-functional & Regional Collaboration
•
• Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to support product launches, campaigns, pricing changes, and in-market execution.
•
• Serve as a key enabler for operational readiness, campaign rollouts, and distributor engagement across all countries in the region.
•
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to localize global initiatives and drive adoption at the market level.
• Systems, Processes & Compliance
•
• Drive CRM (e.g., Salesforce) adoption and ensure consistent use, data accuracy, and reporting alignment.
•
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance visibility, and support scale.
•
• Ensure distributor operations and trade investments comply with internal policies, controls, and audit requirements.
•
• Conduct due diligence for new customer as per FFG internal processes.
•
• Maintain pricing in SAP for existing customers and price set up for new customers.
•
• Coordinate with Master data management team (MDM) on maintenance of customer hierarchy, sku and pricing
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or IT. Masters in Engineering preferred
• + 4 years of experience in sales operations, commercial planning, or distributor management within Southeast/Far East Asia.
• Experience working with FMCG, consumer goods, healthcare, or distributor-based go-to-market models is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with hands-on experience in S&OP, JBP, budgeting, and claims processes.
• Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regionally as required
