The Team

You will be part of the APJ Regional Product Marketing (PMM) team, which is a key regional extension of the US-based corporate Product Marketing organization. Our mission is to bridge global strategy with the unique needs of our local markets.

This role acts as a strategic liaison, working closely with the APJ Go-to-Market (GTM) teams (including Marketing, Sales, and Partners) on one side, and serving as a vital link to the US PMM team, Product Management, and other headquarters-based organizations on the other.

Your core responsibilities will be to drive the success of our products in the APJ market. This includes defining messaging and positioning based on market and competitive intelligence, leading product launches, creating compelling content for customers and prospects, and delivering impactful sales enablement programs. Essentially, you will be the voice of the market to the company and the voice of the product to the market.

Role

This role serves as a critical bridge between corporate headquarters and the APJ market, with a primary focus on Japan while also supporting Korea and other APJ regions. You will be responsible for ensuring regional needs are reflected in the global strategy. As the market expert, you will continuously research and analyze customer trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements in these territories. You will be expected to provide feedback to the global strategy and lead the development of regional strategies, optimizing Okta's messaging, content, and go-to-market (GTM) plans to accelerate business growth.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and localize global product messaging and go-to-market strategies to resonate effectively with the Japanese and South Korean markets.

• Create compelling external-facing content that clearly translates complex technical values into business benefits for customers and partners.

• Evangelize Okta's solutions by actively speaking and presenting at industry events, webinars, and customer briefings.

• Empower internal sales teams and external partners through comprehensive enablement sessions and targeted sales support initiatives.

• Drive regional marketing initiatives and cross-regional support in ASEAN and ANZ as needed, fostering a collaborative approach within the APJ PMM team.

Requirements Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 10+ years of professional experience in the SaaS business sector.

• 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing (PMM), Presales, or Technical Consulting.

• Business level or fluent proficiency in Japanese, Korean, and English.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Knowledge or experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM).

• Proven ability to translate technical concepts and value propositions into easily digestible external messages and marketing content.

• Strong background in presales or consulting, with a deep understanding of customer technical requirements.

• Exceptional project management skills with a track record of successfully executing cross-functional initiatives.

• Demonstrated experience and confidence in public speaking, including keynotes, webinars, and partner events.

このポジションは、主に日本市場に重点を置きながら、韓国およびその他のAPJ地域もサポートし、本社とAPJ市場の重要な架け橋としての役割を担います。担当地域の市場専門家として、顧客動向、競合環境、規制要件を継続的に調査・分析し、地域のニーズをグローバル戦略に反映させる責任を負います。グローバル戦略へのフィードバックや地域戦略の策定を主導し、Oktaのメッセージング、コンテンツ、GTM（Go-to-Market）戦略を各市場に最適化することで、ビジネスの成長を加速させることが期待されます。

• 適応・ローカライズ: グローバルの製品メッセージや市場参入戦略を、日本および韓国市場に効果的に響くよう適切な内容に調整します。

• コンテンツ作成: 複雑な技術的価値を、顧客やパートナー向けのビジネス上のメリットへと明確に変換する、魅力的な外部向けコンテンツを作成します。

• 啓蒙・発信: 業界イベント、ウェビナー、顧客向けブリーフィングに積極的に登壇・プレゼンテーションを行い、Oktaのソリューションを啓蒙します。

• 支援・イネーブルメント: 包括的なイネーブルメントセッションやターゲットを絞った営業支援施策を実施し、社内の営業チームおよび外部パートナーの活動を強化します。

• 推進: APJ PMMチーム内での協調的なアプローチを促進し、必要に応じてASEANおよびANZ地域でのマーケティング施策や地域横断的なサポートを推進します。

必須要件・歓迎要件 (Requirements) 必須要件 (Must-Haves):

• 学士号または同等の実務経験。

• 10年以上のSaaSビジネスにおける実務経験。

• 5年以上のプロダクトマーケティング（PMM）、プリセールス、またはテクニカルコンサルティングの経験。

• 日本語、韓国語、英語でのビジネスレベル以上の優れたコミュニケーション能力。
