This will be part of the Talent & Culture team based in London but with a Regional view across Europe ex Spain & Middle East.

Key ResponsibilitiesCompensation (Regional Lead – CIB scope)
• Act as regional compensation lead for all core compensation processes, including:
• Annual bonus process,
• Merit and salary review processes.
• Lead regional coordination and execution of CRD V / regulatory compensation requirements, working closely with global and local stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Serve as the regional compensation lead on compensation structures, providing guidance and approval on:
• New hire offers
• Role changes and promotions
• Retention and special compensation arrangements
• Partner with Compensation CIB to ensure alignment with global frameworks, principles and governance, while adapting to regional regulatory and market needs.
• Provide expert advice to senior HR and business stakeholders on compensation strategy, market positioning and pay outcomes.
HR Data & Analytics
• Own regional HR data governance, ensuring data quality, consistency and integrity across systems and countries.
• Oversee regional HR reporting, analytics and insights related to compensation, benefits and workforce data.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to provide data-driven insights to support decision-making, planning and regulatory reporting.
Transformation & Process Excellence
• Conduct a comprehensive review of current compensation, benefits and HR data processes and procedures across the region.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies and inconsistencies, and lead initiatives to:
• Unify and standardise processes
• Improve controls and governance
• Enhance employee and manager experience
• Play a key role in transforming the function, embedding scalable, efficient and future-ready ways of working.
• Drive change management and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful adoption of new processes.

Skills & Experience
• Significant experience in senior Compensation and Benefits roles within a complex, regulated environment (financial services preferred).
• Strong expertise in compensation processes, regulatory frameworks (including CRD V) and reward governance.
• Proven experience leading regional or multi-country reward models.
• Strong analytical capability with experience overseeing HR data and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in process transformation, standardisation and change delivery.
• Ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders and influence across matrixed organisations.
