In your role as Business Owner Air-conditioning Middle East & Africa you…

• have Profit & Loss responsibility for the Air Conditioning Business Area in the region (revenue, gross margin)
• develop and execute the HC strategy in line with the Product Line strategy (market, products, R&D, manufacturing)
• manage the portfolio of products and services in the assigned region for all brands active in sales of Air Conditioning products
• ensure the appropriate pricing strategy (setting and steering) in alignment with the country sales organization

• Strong command of P&L, business acumen
• Very good command of pricing waterfalls, margin and cost steering mechanisms
• Familiarity with working with large contractors, developers and commercial partners in an high-paced building sector, including but not limited to the premium/luxury price segment
• Understand and manage complex legislation framework with country-specific regulations, deriving relevant requirements for product and market development
• Specific market knowledge of HVAC industry (technology, trends, competitors)
• Knowledge of sales channels, business models of key partners across the country sales organizations
• Extensive knowledge of Asian manufacturers´ landscape
• Technical knowledge of most common HVAC solutions and their usage in buildings
• Good knowledge of building architectural needs, regulatory framework by country and its impact on HVAC technology roadmap
• Good knowledge of supporting processes along the sales journey (marketing, pre-sales, training, after-sales, spare parts management)

• Proven leadership skills across cross-functional and multicultural teams, in an intercultural setting
• International networking & intercultural abilities
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to present complex problems in easily understandable ways

Languages: Fluent in English

Education:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Energy Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Additional qualifications in Business Administration, Product Management, or Innovation Management are advantageous.
