Refund Analyst

Spreetail is looking for Refunds Analysts to drive refund performance and profitability across SKU, brand, and channel levels through data-driven insights, forecasting, and process improvements. This role will own refund reporting and reconciliation, develop models and dashboards, lead ad-hoc analyses, and partner with cross-functional and finance leaders to build plans that achieve profit targets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances strategic and tactical work, maintains strong attention to detail, and brings experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and building data-driven solutions using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.

How you will achieve success::
• Execute and optimize processes that drive refund improvements across SKU, brand, and channel levels.

• Maintain and enhance refund reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial tracking and performance insights.

• Develop models, templates, and reporting tools (Excel and other data tools) to support efficient decision-making and ad-hoc analysis.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leaders to build refund plans, improve profitability, and influence strategic outcomes.

• Monitor operational metrics, ensure data accuracy, and identify opportunities for variance recovery and process improvements.

What experiences will help you in this role: :
• A Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience with 2+ years of financial analysis experience.

• Expertise in Excel, SQL and PowerBI

• Experience creating or improving warehouse management systems and processes.

• You are proficient in budgeting, forecasting and analyzing financials results.

• You are proficient in building models and business cases with business partners.

This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
- 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- at least 4GB RAM;
- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
- You are required to provide your own dual monitors
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
PC Headset
A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
