Refrigeration Technician

POSITION: Refrigeration Technician REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager

We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join our Facilities team! Our Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment on the production line!

• You pay extra attention to details and have excellent hand-eye coordination
• You can make sound and safe judgement

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• You have 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Ammonia refrigeration experience and/or certification
• Boiler experience and/or certification
• You have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
• You have excellent mathematical and mechanical skills
• You have great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Experience and/or education in lean manufacturing; Six Sigma
• Wastewater experience and/or certifcation
• Water distribution experience and/or certification
• HVAC experience

THINGS YOU WILL DO…

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
• Operate hoisting/lifting device and operate machine tools as needed
• Install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery/mechanical equipment using appropriate tools
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

OTHER…

• You can work flexible shifts, as the job requires
• Valid DL
