Job Description
Refractive Surgery Optometrist – ClearSight LASIK & Lens (Oklahoma City, OK)
At ClearSight LASIK & Lens, our patients’ vision is our sacred mission. For over 31 years, we’ve been helping people live glasses-free — guided by our core values to: Be Precise. Honor Each Person. Reach for Remarkable. Stay Humble.
We’re looking for a passionate, growth-minded Optometrist to join our team and help expand our impact across Oklahoma and beyond. This position has an expected start date between April and July 2026.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a refractive-minded optometrist who loves both clinical excellence and relationship building. You’ll work closely with our surgical team and patients throughout their refractive journey — from consultation and pre-op evaluations to post-op care and ongoing visual optimization.
In addition, this role carries the exciting responsibility of growing and maintaining our co-management network with optometrists across the region. You’ll be the bridge between ClearSight and our partner practices, ensuring seamless patient care and strong professional collaboration. The role also includes occasional assistance with our Plano, TX location, supporting patient care and partner relations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for LASIK, SMILE, and lens-based refractive procedures.
Educate and guide patients through their vision correction journey with warmth and clarity.
Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with referring optometrists across Oklahoma and surrounding areas.
Develop and execute co-management strategies, including educational outreach, office visits, and training events.
Collaborate with the surgical and marketing teams to align patient care and referral growth initiatives.
Participate in ongoing clinical education and contribute to practice-wide excellence initiatives.
Occasionally assist with our Plano, TX location for patient care and co-management support.
Support operational efficiency within clinic workflows, including scheduling optimization and team coordination to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree with an active Oklahoma license (or eligibility).
Prior experience in refractive or surgical co-management preferred, but not required — we’ll train the right person.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for patient-centered care.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably ModMed.
Business acumen and operational awareness — understanding of practice flow, scheduling efficiencies, and team coordination within a high-volume refractive clinic.
Enthusiasm for innovation, continuous learning, and helping people live their best, glasses-free lives.
Why ClearSight
Be part of a team that’s nationally recognized for excellence in refractive vision correction.
Work directly with leading surgeons in a state-of-the-art facility.
Competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and full benefits.
A culture that values precision, respect, and growth — because we believe failure is being the same one year from now.
