Program Description: This role will directly support the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Central Operations (NCO) division for the compute, storage, and networking within the data centers that support the Integrated Dissemination Program (IDP) and Compute Farms (CFs). This partnership will allow the Government to concentrate on its core missions, while also leveraging private sector expertise to manage state-of-the-art data center infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a stable Linux environment
- Patch servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities
- Use Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Linux environment
- Write Ansible scripts to optimize SA work
- Manage Puppet in providing compliance of the Linux environment
- Manage and maintain Satellite server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the repos
- Manage Red Hat Identity Management servers
- Manage Certificate and PKI infrastructure
- Proficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM’s
- Must be able to work independently to provide input and recommendations into the design phase and successfully execute requirements.
- Must excel at troubleshooting complex problems to resolution.
- Must be able to configure and install virtual desktop infrastructure and Enterprise backup solutions.
- Must be able to tune system utilizations for memory, processes, and network performance.
- Must be able to train and mentor Junior Level Sas

Job Requirements:
- 8 – 12 years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual hardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data center 
- Must have Red Hat Certified System administrator – RHCSA  
- Should have expert level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environment
- Red Hat Identity Management
- Red Hat PKI infrastructure Management
- VMWare ESXi
