Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Professional Services:
a. Translate architectural designs and project plans into detailed services delivery procedures and execute as per Scope of Work (SOW)
b. Lead the hands-on deployment, configuration, and integration of Red technologies, including Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenStack, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible Automation Platform, and related cloud-native solutions, in client environments (on-premises, hybrid, multi-cloud).
c. Perform system migrations, upgrades, and patching activities for Red Hat-based infrastructures.
d. Conduct technical assessments and provide insights for future architectural enhancements.
e. Provide expert technical guidance and recommendations to clients on Red Hat best practices for security, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
f. Create comprehensive technical documentation, including Method of Procedure (MOP), as-built, Customer Requirement Document (CRD), etc.
g. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Solutions Architects to validate designs, provide feedback from implementation experiences, and assist sales teams with technical deep-dives and demonstrations.
2) Support & Managed Services:
a. Administer, operate, monitor, maintain or troubleshoot Red Hat deployments as per SLA.
b. Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, and routine maintenance tasks for managed Red Hat environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
c. Guide clients in optimizing their Red Hat infrastructure and application deployments.
d. Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, system failures, and security vulnerabilities within Red Hat environments.
e. Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex Red Hat-related issues, acting as an escalation point for critical incidents.
f. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
g. Implement automation scripts and tools (e.g., Ansible) for routine operational tasks and infrastructure as code (IaC) management.
h. Ensure compliance with client SLAs and Trends’ operational standards.
i. Create & present comprehensive reports (status, issue, incident, RCA, etc.)
3) Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of different cloud platforms & industry trends, and implement & manage complex solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures.
a. Ensure the security and compliance of cloud solutions.
b. Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
c. Develop and maintain delivery documentation & artifacts.
d. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for cloud systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years focused on implementing solutions leveraging Red Hat technologies.
With Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
Highly Desired: Certification on OpenShift, OpenStack, Ansible Automation, or other relevant Red Hat Specialist certifications.
Demonstrable expertise in Linux system administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Proven experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Strong practical experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and scripting (Bash, Python).
Experience with virtualization technologies (OpenStack, KVM) and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls) and storage solutions.
Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD).
