Role: Recycling Operative
Location: Cox’s Lane, Rowley Regis
Hours: 42.75 hours per week, Mon- Friday, between 8:00 and 17:30
Salary: £12.60 p/h
The Role:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Recycling Operative to join our busy team, based at recycling facility, in Rowley Regis. Our team specialises in recycling of clean waste, such as cardboard and plastics. If you are looking for an immediate start, a permanent full-time role in a growing profitable business, this could be the role for you!
The Business:
Recycling Lives Services provide services for WEEE, Batteries and Packaging compliance as well as total waste management services. We provide UK wide coverage and by working closely with Recycling Lives Charity we deliver positive outcomes for people and planet in all we do. We deliver services that change lives.
Key Responsibilities:
To carry out yard duties and to work on all of the production lines as required.
To work within and to adopt all H&S procedures that are in force at all the companies’ depots
To liaise with the supervisor you are working with on a daily basis to determine workloads for the day and any problems arising from the previous day’s production etc.
To inform management immediately of any defects that may cause any item of equipment to be either unsafe.
Work on the trommel line as requested
Ensure machinery daily check sheets are completed
Safely direct customers to the designated tipping areas
To keep the area you are working in clean and tidy and free from hazards.
Any other tasks as required by line managers
