JOB TITLE:
Recruitment Specialist
REPORTS TO: HR & TA Manager
STATUS: Full-time, non-exempt (6 month hire with potential extension)
LOCATION: Remote, US (travel expected)
SALARY RANGE: $26.00-$30.00/hour based on experience and overall interview outcome

JOB SUMMARY:
The Recruitment Specialist will support the People and Talent team by supporting recruitment initiatives and sourcing high caliber talent to grow our mission. This role will partner closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and various stakeholders to understand hiring needs and identify unique ways to source talent, manage scheduling, debriefs, and the offer process. The ideal candidate will have experience understanding state hiring laws. Additionally, the successful candidate will communicate proficiently and provide outstanding experiences for both internal and external customers. This role is expected to travel to sites as needed to work with hiring managers.
*This position is slated to run for 6 months; there is possibility for extension based on performance and hiring needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Operate within our mission driven culture
Conduct intake calls with hiring managers and business leaders to create requisitions
Post requisitions, and manage flow of applications
Source candidates for hard to fill positions
Schedule HR screens, technical interviews, and panel interviews
Maintain highly organized process for hiring to ensure a positive candidate experience
Understand direct business units hiring needs and team dynamics
Stay updated on best hiring practices
Support with onboarding tasks to ensure new hire readiness and success
Travel to various locations as needed (up to 20%)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience in recruiting with sourcing experience
3+ years of experience using an applicant tracking system
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
Understand state compliance requirements for hiring throughout the US
Conduct debriefs, manage the offer process
Must be organized and able to handle multiple requisitions, candidates, and scheduling requirements
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners
Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Willing to travel as needed (20%)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Experience with BambooHR
Experience in agriculture, water treatment, or science based recruitment
Experience conducting new hire orientations or willingness to learn
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Recruiter Lite, HireEZ, Seek Out, or related
Licensing & Special Requirements
Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Most of the work is performed in an office environment. Sitting or standing for long periods may be required.
