ABOUT A24 GROUP
A24 Group is a multi-brand international healthcare staffing organisation operating across South Africa, the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. We connect healthcare facilities with qualified professionals and are driven by operational excellence, compliance, and a commitment to quality patient care.
We are looking for a high-energy, target-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Bellville. This is a sales-heavy role suited to someone who thrives on outbound activity, building client relationships, and closing deals.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new business through high-volume outbound cold calling, developing and managing client accounts, and placing healthcare professionals into temporary and permanent positions. This is not a passive desk — you will be expected to pick up the phone, prospect relentlessly, and build a pipeline from scratch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct high volumes of outbound cold calls daily to prospective healthcare facilities and hiring managers to generate new business.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of client accounts through proactive sales activity, follow-ups, and relationship management.
Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, matching to client requirements, and placement.
Develop and grow existing client accounts through regular engagement, service delivery, and upselling additional staffing solutions.
Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales KPIs including call targets, new client acquisitions, and placement revenue.
Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements with clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity, client interactions, and candidate information in company systems.
Collaborate with the operations and compliance teams to ensure placements meet regulatory and quality standards.
Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to management.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a recruitment, sales, or business development role (healthcare staffing experience is advantageous but not essential).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-activity outbound environment.
Comfortable making a high number of cold calls daily — this is a core function of the role.
Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Computer literate with proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence.
WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive base salary plus a commission/incentive structure.
Opportunity to work within an established international healthcare staffing group.
Career growth and development within a multi-brand organisation.
A fast-paced, supportive team environment.
Ongoing training and mentorship.
