Who We Are

Serval is the AI platform for IT teams — replacing legacy systems like ServiceNow with automation that frees people to focus on meaningful work. Founded in early 2024, Serval is already trusted by innovative companies such as Notion, Perplexity, Vercel, Mercor, Langchain, and Verkada to automate more than 50% of their IT tickets.

Serval "automates the automation," using a natural language-to-code workflow builder and AI agents that discover and deliver automations for tedious IT workflows. What started as IT automation has expanded into a horizontal automation engine adopted by HR, Finance, Legal, Security, and Engineering teams.

Our mission is to free IT departments from the #helpdesk channel by creating the simplest way to automate employee onboarding/offboarding, software access management, and the long tail of employee requests. Long term, our vision is to develop a universal workflow automation and enterprise service management platform for all business functions.

Role Overview

As the first Recruiting Coordinator at Serval, you’ll power the engine behind our hiring velocity. You’ll own the coordination and candidate experience that enables us to attract top talent building the future of AI-driven IT automation. This role is critical to ensuring every candidate interaction reflects Serval’s high standards, speed, and clarity as we scale.

What You’ll Do

• Own interview scheduling end-to-end, coordinating across candidates and hiring teams to keep processes moving quickly and smoothly.

• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through clear, timely communication and thoughtful touchpoints.

• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to manage pipelines, track progress, and remove bottlenecks.

• Maintain accurate data in our ATS and ensure recruiting operations are organized, efficient, and scalable.

• Continuously improve coordination workflows and identify opportunities to increase speed and efficiency.

What You’ll Need

• 1+ years of recruiting coordination or talent operations experience in a fast-paced environment (startup or high-growth company preferred).

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail—you don’t let things slip.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a candidate-first mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly as hiring needs shift.

• Comfort working with ATS systems and scheduling tools; highly proficient with Google Workspace, Ashby or similar tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting technical or engineering hiring.

• Background at an early-stage or venture-backed startup.

• Experience improving recruiting processes or implementing coordination best practices.
