Job Description
Why Flux
Flux is taking the hard out of hardware, by developing the first AI Hardware Engineer. Our goal is to democratize the ability to create bleeding edge hardware, and revolutionize how electronics are designed and built around the world.
About the Role
Flux is building the world’s first AI Hardware Engineer, and that means everything around it has to just work.
As our Recruiting Coordinator, you aren’t just a scheduler—you are the operational architect of our talent engine and the anchor of the talent team. You will be the engaging with many of the world’s top AI and software engineers, ensuring their experience with Flux is as seamless and innovative as our product. You’ll partner directly with our founders and leads to scale our team in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
• Orchestrate the Journey: Manage complex, high-volume interview loops across engineering, product, and operations, balancing speed with an elite candidate experience.
• Guard the Experience: Act as the face of Flux for onsite interviews in our SF office—greeting candidates, managing logistics, and ensuring every "guest" feels welcome and the authenticity of our mission and culture.
• Optimize the Engine: Maintain "pristine" data hygiene in our ATS (Ashby). Identify bottlenecks in our funnel and share ideas to fix them.
• Support Sourcing: Partner with recruiters to help identify the next generation of Flux builders.
• Culture Catalyst: Assist with onboarding logistics and internal team events (hackathons, offsites) as we scale our HQ.
Required Qualifications
• 3 to 6+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or high-stakes operations in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Operational Rigor: You are obsessed with the details (time zones, calendar conflicts, and flawless communication) and thrive in the "beautiful chaos" of an early-stage company.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and modern ATS tools (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.).
• Mission-Driven: A genuine interest in AI, robotics, software and/or hardware engineering. You want to be part of a company that builds physical things.
• Talented Writer & Communicator: understands and crafts messaging tactfully according to your audience: (leadership, hiring managers, customers and others).
• AI Driven: uses AI ongoing, to achieve higher levels of efficiency and impact.
Preferred Qualifications
• Curiosity-heavy and enjoys finding solutions, with a bias for action.
• Has worked at an established tech company with a high volume of scheduling needs
• Has worked at a startup with ambiguous environments, and helped define processes that make the talent function run smoother and more effectively.
