Recruiting Clerk (On-Site Launch Support)
Company: GFA Alabama / Georgia Operations Location: Ellabell, GA (Bryan County) – Office near Hyundai Metaplant + travel to Savannah Tech hiring events
Position Type: Full-Time Temporary (December 2025 – March 2026) with strong possibility of conversion to permanent
Pay Range: $19.00 – $22.00/hr + overtime + weekly pay + full benefits after 60 days

Launch Mission This role is 100% dedicated to the successful Day-1 staffing of 65–70 associates for the January 2026 OEM Supplier on-site operation. You will be the engine that keeps the high-volume pipeline moving every single day.
Primary Responsibilities
Post and refresh 8–10 job ads daily on Indeed, Facebook Jobs, Georgia DOL, and internal ATS
Monitor Indeed Sponsored Campaigns – adjust bids, pause poor performers, duplicate top ads (daily 15-minute routine)
Respond to all candidate texts/emails within 5 minutes during business hours
Conduct 40–60 phone/Zoom pre-screens per day (5–7 minute script)
Schedule candidates into group interview sessions (20–25 per session, 3–4 sessions per week)
Coordinate and set up off-site hiring events at Savannah Tech, Ogeechee Tech, and local churches
Greet candidates at events, check IDs, hand out applications, collect referrals on the spot
Run background checks and drug screens same day (Facts On Demand-Background) and drug screen results
Extend verbal offers on-site with start date, pay rate, and shift (script provided)
Send offer packets and schedule Day-1 orientation waves
Maintain daily pipeline tracker (Google Sheet we all live in) – must be accurate by 9:00 AM every day
Keep “ready bench” of 25+ fully cleared candidates at all times
Required Skills & Experience
1–3 years high-volume recruiting or staffing agency experience (200+ hires in <60 days is ideal)
Extreme proficiency with Indeed back-end, Excel/Google Sheets, and texting platforms (Textedly or similar)
Ability to work in fast-paced, loud hiring fair environment (standing 6–8 hours)
Professional but approachable personality – you are the face of GFA to every candidate
Reliable transportation
Flexible schedule: some evenings (until 7–8 PM) and 1–2 Saturdays per month in December possible
Preferred (Big Advantage)
Previous automotive or manufacturing launch experience
Bilingual English/Spanish (Bryan County has large Hispanic applicant pool)
Familiar with OEM or other OEM supplier hiring processes
What Success Looks Like
We hit 65+ Day-1 starts in January with <8% no-show rate
Candidate NPS > 85 (we text survey after every event)
Zero delays caused by background/drug screen backlogs
