• Create new, unique and interesting activities that draw upon the best cultural, fitness, wellness, sporting or other offerings of the area in which the hotel is located.  Help make the sports and leisure offering a point of competitive advantage for the hotel. Ensure outsourced service provides maintenance standards.
• To self-promote and actively seek new bookings.
• To create new strategies and ideas to draw in more booking for personal and department activities. 
• Ensures smooth running of the Fitness and Wellness area on a day to day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.
• Is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the gym and fitness areas. Including restocking, inventories and reporting maintenance issues.
• When not performing a task or duty must be present in the Recreation Area, interacting with guests and maintaining the area.
• Along with the Recreation team is responsible for reaching daily sales targets and the upselling of all Recreation/Kids Club activities.
• To follow the morning, closing and daily checklists set by the Asst. Recreation and Recreation Manager.
• Has complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the resort.
• Ensures that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.
• Maintains a strong working environment with the other departments.
• Ensures proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for Sports & Recreations.
• Keep himself updated with all guest bookings for recreational activities.
• Ensures that guest history records are updated at all times in coordination with Guest Service Centre.
• Takes ownership of guest’s requests and needs and ensures immediate action as appropriate.
• Advises Recreation supervisor and Assistant Front Office Manager of all guest feedback and unusual matters.
• Attends training sessions as required.
• Ensures that all defects and reported to engineering and appropriately resolved.
• Ensures that all games and equipment are in working order as per resort standards.
• Ensure that liability waiver form is signed by guests going on experiences and provides safety briefings.
• Ensure adequate par stock is maintained in recreation department and requisitions where necessary.
• Is required to assist in the duties of the Recreation Attendants, Officer and kid’s club staff when instructed to by Management.

• At least 2 years experience on a similar role with a 5 star hotel
• Physically fit and knowledge regarding fitness activities
• Different sports skills
• Very good organization and leadership skills
• Service oriented
