Recovery Support Worker – 39 Hours Per Week (Temporary Contract – 3 Months, with Possibility of Extension)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Support Worker to join our team on a temporary 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. In this role, you will support individuals living with mental health needs to maintain their tenancies, build independence, and achieve their personal goals.
About the Role: You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team including health professionals, local authorities, and other agencies to provide person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supporting individuals to sustain or access suitable accommodation
Developing and delivering person-centred support and recovery plans
Helping service users build confidence, independence, and life skills
Providing support with budgeting, bills, appointments, and daily living
Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining accurate records
Encouraging positive wellbeing, including healthy lifestyles
Working collaboratively with external agencies and professionals
Supporting service users with tenancy responsibilities and managing conflict
People Specifications.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in support work, housing, or mental health services
Understands risk assessment and support planning
Has knowledge of welfare benefits and relevant legislation
Can work independently and as part of a team
Has strong communication and organisational skills
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred.

This Role is Subject to:
Enhanced DBS check
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Two satisfactory employment references
