Position Summary: This is an excellent opportunity to work in a very respected Ears, Nose, Throat, Head and Neck surgeon's office. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a very fast-paced, busy work environment while remaining cheerful, friendly, and courteous at all times.
Essential Job Functions: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Multiple complex computer programs -Type 55wpm (may be tested) -Meet and greet patients -Accurate data entry for patient demographics, insurance, health information, etc. -Excellent telephone etiquette -Know and follow HIPAA rules and guidelines -Multi-task easily while maintaining cheerful, friendly disposition -Balance office day-end financials -Able and willing to cross-train on multiple desks with different responsibilities on each one -Able to stay on task to completion -Maintain tidy, organized, clean, and sanitized work area -Participate in day-end office cleaning -Work in both our Orem and Provo office
Qualifications: NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION. ONLY QUALIFIED APPLICANTS NEED APPLY. -Ideal candidate wants stable, long-term multi-year employment -2 years MINIMUM MEDICAL work experience -Able to work hours as posted -Familiar with Medical terminology and correct spelling -Knowledge of medical insurance -Easily multi-task while maintaining a cheerful, friendly, kind disposition with patients and staff -Works well as an individual and with a team -Self-starter -Strong attention to detail with thoroughness and accuracy -Punctual -Highly-motivated with a willingness to succeed -Able to pick-up addition shifts if needed -Can start immediately
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5:15p. No weekends. Long-term, year-round position. Must be able to work entirety of scheduled shifts.
