Mindex is seeking a part time (20 hours/week) friendly and proactive Receptionist to be the face of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, greeting visitors and clients, and providing the highest level of customer service. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth communication within the office.

Essential Functions

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner; determine the nature of their visit and direct them appropriately.
• Manage the front desk operations, including answering and directing phone calls, emails, and other communications.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings as necessary.
• Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
• Ensure that the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
• Assist with administrative tasks and support other departments as required.


Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
• Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle inquiries and issues professionally.
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Physical Conditions/Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs.

The band range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, education, experience, training, certifications, internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range for this role is $20.00/hour - $25.00/hour.
