JOB SUMMARY

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Prince Industries LLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our inventory and shipment processes operate smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying accuracy, and maintaining accurate inventory records while adhering to safety protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare outbound shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and corresponding documentation.
• Maintain and update inventory logs, tracking stock levels and assisting in audits as needed.
• Utilize forklifts and other machinery to move products safely within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members, suppliers, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of products.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training is a plus.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, especially in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification is preferred, with a commitment to safety.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods, typically 8-10 hours.
• Capable of lifting and moving packages weighing up to 25 - 50 pounds, assisted
• Good vision, with corrective lenses if needed, to perform detailed inspections.
• Willingness to work in a noisy environment with proper hearing protection.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments.
• Must also have close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus and judge depth. Color vision is required as well.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

COMPENSATION: $18-20/hr
