The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Rebates Analyst to join our Finance team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager core focus of the role is to administer all rebate payments to iNova customers. Key responsibilities include calculating and validating rebate amounts, coordinating credits and payments, securing required approvals, and preparing management-level summary reports and contract-based reconciliations. The role also supports audit activities related to rebates and oversees the submission of various monthly, quarterly, and annual usage reports.
Key accountabilities and performance indicators include:
Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly trade spend accruals (Product Placement, Co‑op, Rebates), ensuring accurate, timely reporting and effective financial management of rebate-related accruals.
Administer rebates by interpreting contract terms in SAP, processing payments, validating conditions with business managers, and completing timely reconciliations and settlements.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting to ensure accurate trade spend reporting, monitor prior‑period adjustments, and identify variances against budgets and forecasts.
Review and validate data integrity across internal and external systems (SAP, wholesaler reports), troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies as needed.
Prepare ad hoc trade spend reports, support audits with required documentation and queries, and manage balance sheet accounts related to distributor accruals.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following
Accounting degree or equivalent work experience with 3+ years in financial analysis and Trade Spend/Rebates Management in Consumer Health or FMCG.
Strong technical skills: Intermediate–Advanced Excel, MS Office applications, SAP (essential) and SAP BI (desirable).
Strong analytical ability, problem‑solving skills, and disciplined task completion with strict adherence to deadlines.
Proven collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders; effective written and verbal communication.
Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, integrity, and a self‑starter, can‑do attitude suited for fast‑paced environments; strong team player with enthusiasm and follow‑through.
