Job Description
The Projects Director will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-value real estate projects, ensuring alignment with company goals. This role requires strategic oversight of budgets, timelines, teams, and stakeholder relationships to achieve operational excellence and client satisfaction
Requirements:
1. Strategic Project Management
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules for residential/commercial developments.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations (zoning, permits, building codes) and sustainability standards (LEED, BREEAM).
2. Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, architects, contractors) and mentor project managers.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Marketing departments to align project objectives.
3. Financial Oversight
• Prepare and manage project budgets up to [$X million], optimizing resource allocation.
• Conduct cost analysis and deliver financial reports to executives.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, clients, and government agencies.
• Provide regular updates to the executive team on milestones, risks, and KPIs.
5. Innovation & Quality Assurance
• Implement green building practices and cutting-edge construction technologies.
• Oversee quality control inspections to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
6. Post-Project Evaluation
• Conduct debriefs to identify lessons learned and process improvements.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. MBA/Master’s preferred.
· Experience: 10+ years in real estate project management, including 5+ years in leadership. Proven success in managing [$50M+] projects.
Technical & Industry-Specific Skills
• Project Management Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in tools like MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and BIM (Building Information Modeling) for planning, scheduling, and design coordination.
• Financial Acumen: Budgeting, cost analysis, ROI calculations, and financial modeling for projects exceeding $50M+.
• Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of zoning laws, building codes (e.g., IBC), permits, and sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM, WELL).
• Construction Process Mastery: Experience overseeing design, procurement, construction, and handover phases for mixed-use, residential, or commercial developments.
• Risk Management: Proactive identification of project risks (delays, cost overruns) and mitigation strategies.
• Contract & Vendor Management: Negotiation of contracts with architects, contractors, and suppliers; familiarity with FIDIC or AIA agreements.
• Quality Control & Safety: Implementation of QA/QC protocols and OSHA-compliant safety standards.

• Strategic Vision: Ability to align projects with company goals, market trends, and long-term growth strategies.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams (engineers, architects, contractors) and fostering collaboration.
• Stakeholder Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills for liaising with investors, clients, government agencies, and C-suite executives.
• Problem-Solving: Decisive under pressure, with innovative solutions for complex challenges (e.g., supply chain disruptions, labor shortages).
