Ready Mix Plant Supervisor

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Batch Plant Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our plant equipment, ensuring efficient production processes. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  This is a Non-Exempt position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Operate and monitor plant machinery, including concrete mixers and heavy equipment, to ensure optimal performance.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.

Utilize forklifts for material handling and transportation within the plant.

Engage in welding and fabrication tasks as needed to support production goals.

Assist with concrete forming and finishing processes, ensuring high-quality output.

Collaborate with team members to maintain safety standards and adhere to operational protocols.

Maintain accurate records of production activities and equipment performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience in manufacturing, construction, or related fields is preferred.

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining and heavy equipment operation.

Familiarity with concrete forming and finishing techniques is a plus.

Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for efficient material handling.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
