React Native Developer (Mid/Senior) – Tietoevry Create (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a React Native Engineer (Mid/Senior level) to join our growing mobile team and contribute to the development of high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to build scalable, performant, and user-friendly mobile solutions using React Native. You will contribute to technical decisions, apply best practices, and continuously improve code quality and application performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about delivering impactful solutions - especially in the healthcare and life sciences domain. 

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features
• Implement and manage application state using Redux/Redux Toolkit
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
• Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience across platforms
• Stay up to date with modern mobile development trends and technologies
• (For Senior level) Support and guide less experienced developers when needed

 

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React Native
• Solid understanding of ES6+ and modern JavaScript practices
• Practical experience with Redux and application state management
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and performance considerations
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and mobile app releases (App Store/Google Play)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

 

A significant advantage would be

• Experience working on healthcare or life sciences projects, including compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
• Experience with Bluetooth integrations (BLE devices, wearables, medical devices)
• Exposure to native modules and basic understanding of bridging between React Native and iOS/Android
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design
• Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools
