Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating heavy equipment to efficiently manage materials handling, order picking, and shipping & receiving processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations, forklift and crane operation, and a strong understanding of safety protocols such as OSHA standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that values safety, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Shift: 6:30AM-3PM, must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Safely operate reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment for material movement within the warehouse

Load and unload shipments accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with precision and efficiency

Assist with order picking and materials handling tasks to meet daily operational goals

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards

Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly

Support shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of goods

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and safety procedures

Requirements

Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, crane equipment, and clamp trucks in a warehouse or construction setting

Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving processes

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and heavy equipment operation safety standards

Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and materials handling tools

Ability to perform heavy lifting and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Warehouse or distribution center experience preferred; previous supervisor experience is a plus

Valid certification for forklift or heavy equipment operation is highly desirable

Strong attention to safety protocols and ability to work well within a team environment
