WORK LOCATION: In-office; required to work at Rogers Centre five days a week

Jays Care Foundation is looking for a passionate, and motivated individual to assist with talent management for RBI Summer Edition. RBI Summer Edition is a free baseball day camp that offers daily programming in July and August for over 2000 youth attending the Toronto District School Board’s (TDSB) summer school initiative. The program offers children from priority neighborhoods enriching baseball activities and experiences that support youth development.
Please note that this is a seasonal position aligned with our high season, spanning from approximately February-August 2026. These positions are full-time contracts.
As a Talent Management Administrative Coordinator, you will:
Assist the hiring process for 300+ summer staff, ensuring timely recruitment and leading the onboarding process.
Maintain accurate and organized records of applicants, contracts, and compliance documents throughout the hiring cycle.
Provide exceptional candidate experience by communicating clearly, answering inquiries, and supporting staff through onboarding.
Collaborate with program leadership to ensure staffing needs align with camp schedules and organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job descriptions, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and issuing offers.
Manage onboarding processes, such as collecting documentation, facilitating training registrations, coordinating payroll submissions, and tracking completion of requirements.
Monitor and update hiring systems and databases to ensure data integrity and timely reporting for leadership.
Support HR compliance by ensuring all staff meet organizational requirements (e.g., background checks, certifications).
In addition, the Administrative Coordinator can expect to be assigned to support a wide range of Jays Care Foundation projects beyond RBI Summer Edition including, but not limited to:
In-stadium events
Community events
Fundraising events
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with youth and baseball knowledge is preferred but not required.
Passionate about using baseball and sport as tools for development to create safe, inclusive spaces for youth.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative.
Experience working with organizations, with a good understanding of business operations or human resources.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Recreation, Education, Sport Management, Business, Kinesiology, or related field.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Good demonstration of problem-solving skills and ability to work in a group
Significant competence in PowerPoint, Excel and online communication platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
Fluency in a language other than English is an asset
