Position: Railcar Cleaning Technician

Location: Beaumont, TX
Shift: Day and/or Evening Shift

Iron Horse Rail Services is hiring Railcar Cleaning Technicians to join our team. This is tough, industrial work — not janitorial cleaning. Our technicians work in confined spaces, wear chemical suits and supplied air, and use heavy-duty cleaning equipment to prepare railcars and tanks for safe reuse.

What You’ll Do

Clean the interiors and exteriors of railcars and tanks using high-pressure equipment and industrial chemicals.

Work in confined spaces, wearing full PPE (chemical suits, respirators, supplied air).

Handle and properly dispose of industrial waste.

Perform minor disassembly, inspection, and care of cleaning equipment.

Follow strict safety procedures every day.

What We’re Looking For

Comfortable with hard physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, crouching, working outdoors in heat/cold).

Able to work safely in confined spaces and at heights.

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience with industrial cleaning, hydroblasting, blasting, or tank/railcar work is a big plus.

Must be reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn.
