Radiologic Technologist - Per Diem

Elitra Health /Affiliated Physicians is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform screening Mammography, CT, XRAY and Dexa scans.

Further Job Description is:

Specializes in the production of screening mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.

Licensed and experienced with Mammo, CT, DEXA and X-Ray scanning, processes and procedures.

Prepares patients for the radiology procedure.

Explains procedures to the patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.

Practices radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills.

Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.

Examines digital images for image quality.

Insures equipment is in proper working order at all times.

Performs all required QA testing required to comply with MQSA, ACR and State requirements/regulations.

Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

Processes routine paperwork and all required data entry.

Prepares all required reports and data pursuant to MQSA and State requirements.

Excellent customer service and high quality clinical skills are required.

Must be certified in the state of NY.

Hours 6:45am - 2:45pm

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
