Job Title: Radiation Oncologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to provide high-quality, patient-centered cancer care. The physician will plan and deliver radiation therapy for patients with a wide range of malignancies, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation therapy for cancer and select benign conditions.
• Develop individualized radiation treatment plans, including simulation, contouring, and dose prescription.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists.
• Monitor patients throughout the course of treatment and manage treatment-related side effects.
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• Active medical license to practice in [State].
• Strong clinical expertise in modern radiation therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient care skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered oncology care.
