Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development & automation as well as testing & validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam).
In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, push belt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

• Customer Engineering Interface for automotive components for JOEM.
• Collect and develop technical requirements of all JOEM customers
• Close cooperation with engineering teams in Vietnam/Germany as well as Sales and Product Management team in Yokohama office
• Prepare the technical documents and discuss with customer (technical presentation, spec comparison, validation reports, DRBFM…)
• Coordinate/lead the technical meeting with JOEM customer
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or similar subjects
• Experience with project/ engineering change process in the automotive environment
• Good understanding of automotive technology, e/wire harness experience or knowledge is a plus
• Native or fluent in Japanese and advanced level in English skills for customer and global team communication
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high resilience, willingness to take responsibility
• Proactiveness and openness to learn, work and collaborating in global team
• Independent, well-structured and goal-oriented way of working
• Good presentation and negotiation skills is a plus
